As a United Methodist congregation, The Beacon shares core Christian beliefs with many denominations, including our faith in God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the authority of Scripture. These beliefs ground everything we do and shape how we live out our faith each day.
What makes us distinct is how we are called to live that faith as a beacon in our community—offering the hope, strength, and love of Jesus Christ to all. Rooted in the United Methodist tradition, we place a strong emphasis on God’s grace, a grace that meets people where they are and invites them into lives of healing, service, and transformation. We believe faith is not only something we profess, but something we practice through compassion, justice, and meaningful connection both locally and around the world.
At The Beacon, growing as disciples of Jesus Christ means learning together, serving together, and being attentive to how the Holy Spirit is moving among us. We invite you to explore what we believe, how we serve, and the ways we seek to reflect Christ’s light in our community. You’ll also find answers to common questions as you learn more about our faith, our mission, and our heart for those around us.
For a community event, worshop, coffee, or just to chat, we hope to see you soon!
