1 Corinthians 7:29–31; Philippians 4:11–13

Do you ever feel like you do not have enough or that you are not enough?

In this message, Why You Never Feel Like You Have Enough, we conclude the series Maturing in Christ: When Faith Moves Beyond Belief by looking at 1 Corinthians 7:29–31 and Philippians 4:11–13.

Many people spend their lives chasing more security, more approval, more comfort, more control, or more success. But even when life looks full, the soul can still feel restless. Paul reminds us that “this world in its present form is passing away,” and he teaches that contentment is learned through dependence on Christ.

Christian contentment is not pretending we have no needs. It is not self-sufficiency or emotional numbness. It is learning to trust Christ in every circumstance and to hold the things of this world with open hands.

In this sermon, we explore why temporary things cannot give lasting security, how scarcity and comparison shape our hearts, and how Christ gives us the strength to live with gratitude, contentment, and freedom.
